About Me

My name is William Taylor Payne IV. I was born and grew up in Burlington, North Carolina. I had an adventurous childhood as my father was a member of ASHE so we oftentimes traveled the country to places like Disney World and Disney Land. I also did Tae-Kwon-Do and earned my Black Belt in the martial art at age 12. I played Basketball and ran Track and Field at the tail end of Middle School and into High School. To match my adventurous spirit as a kid I also went on a trip to Greece and Italy where I had confirmed my love for history as I was able to examine the ruins of the Greeks and Romans up close. I had also examined an old 16th century house in Mexico but nothing came close to the pure history of the Greek and Roman structures. This would further spark a love of history when learning about the governments of the Greeks and Romans so I had to learn more. When college arrived, I found myself studying Political Science as my major with a History minor. I am now working on my masters degree of Communication and Business Leadership at High Point University.
