With a post based around the legal use of funds for America's 250th anniversary, the topic seems appropriate for my major of political science. The government is having internal discussions over the usage of funds for the main celebration of such in 2026. Thus, the debate will grow over what should be celebrated and what should be ignored for penny pinching. With that being said, there is a large section of those who would rather not celebrate the anniversary in any big way at all in the post. Thus, there lies a large rift between party and American ideology overall in just how to approach the situation of the country's 250th.
